Stabbing in Surrey sends teenager to hospital with non-life threatening injuries

VANCOUVER - Surrey RCMP are investigating a stabbing that sent a 17-year-old girl to hospital.

Police say the teenager received non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

They say there was an altercation involving several teens on Saturday at around 6:20 p.m. at Unwin park in Surrey.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages, but believe it was a targeted incident and the people involved are known to each other.
