Sunny and warm weekend in Kamloops and the Okanagan

There is mostly sunshine and warm temperatures in the weather forecast well into next week in Kamloops and the Okanagan.

Kamloops is expected to reach 13 Celsius today, March 14, but warm to 17 C Friday and stay in the 15-17 C range through the weekend.

Overnight lows are forecast by Environment Canada to be well above freezing, ranging from 4 C tonight up to 8 C by Monday morning.

After some cloudy skies today, unbroken sunshine is in the forecast until Tuesday when a bit of cloud is expected to move in but the high for that day could reach 21 C in Kamloops.

The normal high temperature for today in Kamloops is 11 C with an overnight low of -1 C.

Kelowna and Vernon are expected to reach 13 C today with a mix of sun and cloud but clearing Friday with temperatures climbing to 17 C on Sunday and 18 C on Tuesday.

Overnight lows are forecast to climb from 1 C tonight up to 6 C by Sunday.

Penticton should be a couple of degrees warmer.
