Summer-like temperatures expected in Kamloops this weekend

It might seem early, but the Kamloops weather forecast could have some residents working on their summer tans by Sunday.

Kamloops residents can look forward to a preview of summer this weekend after some clouds and showers tomorrow.

Environment Canada says today’s sunny skies and high temperature of 19 Celsius will give way to a few clouds tonight along with a low of 4 C.

Friday there is a 40 per cent chance of showers, accompanied by cloudy skies and a high of 16 C.

There’s a 60 per cent possibility of showers lingering through the night, but Saturday should break to a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 19 C.

Sunday's forecast calls for continuing sunshine and a high of 23 C.

By Monday, Kamloops could see a high of 26 C under mostly sunny skies.

Back east in Ontario, Toronto is looking at a mix of sun and cloud with snow or rain, with a high of 5 C today and 6 C tomorrow.

They might have a sunny day on Saturday, but with a high only reaching 11 C.

The sunny, warm conditions continue in Kamloops well into next week, with a sun and cloud mix for Tuesday and Wednesday and highs of 23 C and 20 C.

Kamloops’s normal high and low is 17 C and 3 C this time of year.
