Sudden death of man in Kamloops not considered suspicious: RCMP

Criminality is not suspected as RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service investigate the sudden death of man in his 60s in Kamloops.

RCMP say the man's body was found in a vehicle shortly after 6:30 a.m. today, April 24, in the area of Barnhartvale Road west of Highway 97.

"At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man's death as the investigation continues," RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey said in a media release. "The B.C. Coroners Service has been notified and is also investigating his sudden death."

RCMP are not releasing the man's identity.
