Indigenous culture and natural beauty were woven together at the peak of Battle Bluffs near Kamloops, recently.
Dancing in his regalia was Canim Lake Band member Arthur Paul, and the beauty was captured by Kamloops photographer Candice Camille. The photoshoot happened shortly after sunset, as warm colours were glowing on the horizon and deflecting off of Kamloops Lake.

Paul’s Traditional regalia is made from eagle feathers. Practicing the dance indicates that member of the community is a hunter and warrior.
“My face is painted like I am going to war – it's to scare my enemies,” he said.
