Crews respond to seven stranded hikers near Metro Vancouver mountain

WEST VANCOUVER, B.C. - Rescue crews are responding to a group of stranded hikers in Metro Vancouver.

North Shore Rescue says there are seven hikers who need assistance.

It says one person is in medical distress.

It says the hikers are on St. Marks Summit near West Vancouver's Cypress Mountain.

Crews are staging at Cypress SAR station.
