Vernon, B.C. – February 23, 2017 JCI Vernon is proud to announce that the 8th Annual JCI Hospital Gala & Charity Auction will be held on April 22 at the Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre.
Proudly sponsored by MNP LLP and Nixon Wenger LLP, this highly anticipated event will pay homage to the Medieval Period, as guests take a step back in time for an experience they won’t soon forget.
“This year’s JCI Hospital Gala will be incredible,” says Paul Philps, JCI Hospital Gala Co-Chair. “It’s an opportunity for people to experience a medieval celebration with a few surprises thrown in. It will not only be a night to remember, but guests will also be supporting the purchase of lifesaving cardiac equipment to be used when transporting patients to the Kelowna General Hospital Cardiac Care Unit.”
This equipment will help keep both patients and health care staff safe during transport, allowing staff to assist patients, while being safely belted-in.
“We are proud to say we have raised over $325,000 to date for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation” says John Dent, JCI Hospital Gala Co-Chair. “Through continued community support, we look forward to watching that number grow.”
Businesses, community groups and individuals have an opportunity to contribute by donation of silent auction items and through buying tickets.
