Stolen vehicle may be linked to Lake Country thefts: Crime Stoppers

Lake Country RCMP is on the lookout for a stolen vehicle believed to be connected to multiple thefts before Halloween.

According to Crime Stoppers Central Okanagan, four vehicles had windows smashed on Woodsale Road, Lodge Road, and Darlene Road in the early hours of Oct. 29.

"The thieves were mostly unsuccessful in two of the break-ins, but made off with a Gerber multi-tool and a black JVC mini handheld video recorder, no power cord or charger, from one vehicle and a variety of power tools in a red Hilti tool bag from another," Crime Stoppers Central Okanagan said.

A brown 2007 Toyota Rav 4, stolen in Kelowna Oct. 25, is thought to be involved.
