Suspect flees after police shoot at stolen vehicle in Langley

LANGLEY, B.C. - A suspect remains at large following a police chase in Langley that saw officers shoot at a stolen vehicle.

Cpl. Holly Marks with Langley RCMP says Mounties from the Surrey detachment were following a stolen car on Wednesday afternoon.

Marks says officers tried to stop the car at an intersection in Langley, and the car crashed into a police cruiser.

The suspect then fled the scene.

Witnesses say shots were fired, though no injuries have been reported.

Marks says police continue to investigate the incident. (CKNW, News1130)
