Sting is coming to Prospera Place.

The Back to Bass tour will kick off in Kelowna May 30 as Sting brings his talent once more to North American audiences. His 2011-2012 tour brought him to stages throughout North America, as well as Europe, the UK, South Africa and Asia. The 2013 tour once again promises Sting performing his greatest hits, stripped down with a five piece band. It will extend across North America in June before crossing the Atlantic into Europe in July.

Band members include his longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, David Sancious on keyboards, Peter Tickell on electric fiddle and Jo Lawry on vocals.

There is a special opportunity for members of the Sting fan club to purchase tickets for many of the concerts in advance of the general public at www.sting.com. As well, promoter VIP Nation is offering a variety of exclusive packages along the Back to Bass tour that include premium seats, access to soundcheck, specially designed merchandise and a meet and greet with Sting.

Tickets for the Kelowna event go on sale at Prospera Place Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. They are also available through Ticketmaster and www.sting.com. Sting will appear May 31 in Victoria at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
