Startup Canada Awards ceremonies are coming to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - Startup Canada Awards are holding ceremonies in six regions this fall, including the Tournament Capital. 

Startup Canada will be travelling across Canada this August and September for its fourth annual Startup Canada Awards ceremonies, which is the hallmark event celebrating outstanding achievement in Canada’s entrepreneurship and innovation community. Regional and national award winners are celebrated at red-carpet ceremonies, according to Startup Canada's media advisory.

This year there will be six regional ceremonies and one national ceremony. The local community can join in the celebration in Kamloops. on Sept. 15 at The Rex Hall from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The media advisory says the Grand Finale will be held in Ottawa in conjunction with Startup Canada Day on the Hill, Canada’s largest and most influential entrepreneurship event.

Startup Canada's partners include Collab Space, Opportunities New Brunswick, La Gare, Startup Whitehorse, YuKonstruct, (co) space, Startup Kamloops, Kamloops Innovation and North Forge Technology Exchange.

Startup Canada gives entrepreneurs a voice through online programs, national awards, flagship events, partnerships with private sector and government. It is done to foster a community for startup and small business success across the country.
