KELOWNA - A sure sign of spring in the Okanagan is the job fair blitz by local restaurants and hotels.
The yet-to-open Cactus Club inside the Kelowna Yacht Club is leading the pack Friday, March 27 and 28. The brand new operation is looking to staff all positions front and back, including management.
The franchised restaurant chain promises full, hands-on training, flexible hours and straight-out fun, working in a fast-paced work environment.
They are seeking naturally friendly people with a passion for excellence in customer service.
You can find them (with your resume in hand) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, at the Delta Grand, 1310 Water St.
The Hotel Eldorado says working for them is like working in a postcard. If you’re interested in working at the local hotel and restaurant, bring your resume for its job fair Sat. March 28.
They too promise an exciting work environment in their lakeside hotel, restaurant and marina complex on Lakeshore Dr.
Their job fair runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at their location 500 Cook Rd. in the Mission.
Earls on Top is also hiring, vowing to offer the biggest job fair the downtown restaurant has ever had on Sat. April 25.
The chain restaurant is promising on-the-spot interviews and is looking to fill both front- and back-end positions in all areas of the restaurant’s operations.
They are seeking “amazing people” so if you fit the bill, bring your resume to the restaurant downtown on Bernard Ave. across from The Sails between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
