Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll scored twice as the Medicine Hat Tigers defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-2 on Wednesday in the Western Hockey League.

Jonas Woo, Dayton Reschny and Misha Volotovskii all scored once for Medicine Hat. Tigers netminder Jordan Switzer saved 25 of 27 shots.

Andrew O'Neill and Gavin Hodnett replied for Edmonton. Oil Kings goaltender Ethan Simcoe stopped 27 of 30 shots.
