History and the rankings are against Canada when it meets Fiji on Sunday in the Pacific Nations Cup men's rugby semifinal at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.

RANKINGS: Fiji is No. 9, while Canada in No. 24.

PAST MEETINGS: Fiji leads holds a 9-3-0 edge in the all-time series and has won eight of the last nine meetings, with the average margin of victory at 24 points. The lone Canadian win during that run was a 20-18 decision in Ottawa in the 2013 Pacific Nations Cup, with the previous victories in 1991 (at the World Cup) and 1995.

STREAKS: The Canadian men have lost 12 straight to Oceania opposition since an ill-tempered 36-27 win over Tonga in June 2013 in Kingston, Ont. Fiji has won six straight in the Pacific Nations Cup.
