Tennessee finished 24-10 overall with a 13-4 record at home during the 2024-25 season. The Volunteers averaged 86.6 points per game while allowing opponents to score 70.1 last season.

East Tennessee State finished 5-9 on the road and 17-13 overall a season ago. The Buccaneers averaged 59.9 points per game last season, 9.5 on free throws and 20.1 from deep.
