Someone in BC only has three days left to claim a $1-million lottery prize.

Did you buy a lottery ticket last September in Maple Ridge? If you did, you could be holding on to a $1 million winning ticket.

The winner only has three days left to claim the Lotto 6/49 prize, which is set to expire at midnight Thursday, Sept. 28, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release.

Anyone who purchased a ticket for the draw are advised to check their homes, cars, wallets and purses for the winning ticket.

Whoever finds a ticket with the Gold Ball draw number 12299795-01 has won $1 million and will have to claim their prize quick before it’s too late.

Players can check their tickets at any lottery retailer in BC or on the lottery corporation's website here.

The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased and the lottery winner’s name will only be announced once the winner has come forward to claim the prize.
