Some sunshine but no rain in the Okanagan weekend forecast

Fall-like conditions are in the Okanagan weather forecast rain expected on either side of the weekend. Saturday and Sunday should see some clouds, but no rain.

OKANAGAN - The Okanagan will see some fall-like weather conditions with season temperature over the next few days with the possibility of showers on either side of the weekend.

Environment Canada says today, Oct. 3, Okanagan residents can a mix of sun and cloud with a high around 15 C Celsius. There is a chance of showers this evening and overnight with the snow level dropping from 1,700 to 1,400 metres after midnight. The wind will become south at 20 km/h near midnight with a low fo 5 C.

The forecast calls for a mainly cloudy day tomorrow with a chance of showers, a snow level of 1,400 metres and a high around 15 C. Overnight, expect cloudy periods and a low of 7 C.

There is no precipitation in the forecast the weekend, although cloudy conditions are expected, with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 16 C anticipated Saturday. It should be clear overnight with a low of 4 C.

Clouds are expected to roll back in on Sunday with a high of 17 C and a low of 6 C.

Cloudy conditions are expected to continue into Monday with a high of 16 C and a chance of showers along with a low of 8 C.

The clouds and showers are expected to continue into Tuesday, with a chance of precipitation expected along with a high of 14 C and a low of 3 C overnight.

Normal temperatures this time of year in the Okanagan are highs of 15 C and lows of 4 C.
