TORONTO - Canada will travel to the Czech Republic for an international soccer friendly on Nov. 15.
The game in Olomouc falls during a FIFA international date prompted by the World Cup qualifying playoffs.
The Czechs, ranked 27th in the world, missed out on being in those playoffs by finishing third in their UEFA qualifying pool with a 4-3-3 record.
Only first-place Italy (6-2-4) qualified out of Group B. Denmark (4-2-4) finished one point ahead of the Czechs in second place, also missing out on the playoffs.
Canada, currently ranked a career-low No. 111, is coming off a 3-0 defeat to Australia earlier this month in London.
The loss stretched Canada's winless streak to 12 games (0-9-3) during which time it has been outscored 24-2. The Canadian men haven't scored in their last eight outings, a drought that now stands at 12 hours 32 minutes.
The Czechs defeated visiting Canada 5-1 the last time they met, in November 2003.
