LONDON - Nearly a month after leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy, David Beckham is in no rush to find a new team as the former England captain mulls over "a number of serious proposals" from clubs across the world.
The 37-year-old midfielder is seeking a final challenge in his career and has been linked with clubs in France, Australia and Asia.
Beckham's management company says Thursday in a statement that offers are "on the table from a host of clubs across the world" but that it's "early days in the process."
The statement says "David is in no hurry to make a decision, the key is making the right one as he has always done successfully in his career."
Beckham ended his five-year stint in the United States on Dec. 1.
