THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – Motorists planning to travel on the Trans-Canada Highway via Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass may be in for a snowy trip.

Today, Dec. 18, Environment Canada issued a warning calling for 20 to 30 cm of snow on the highway.

The warning says heavy snow will fall tonight and taper off Monday afternoon, with some light flurries continuing into Monday evening.

Environment Canada warns that highways, roads, walkways and parking lots could become hard to navigate.
