Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the North and Central Okanagan.

Roughly 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected to fall on Kelowna and Vernon and the surrounding North and Central Okanagan starting late this evening, Dec. 29, and continuing through until Wednesday.

Environment Canada says accumulations of 10 to 15 cm of snow could be expected before it tapers off to a few flurries by Wednesday afternoon.

Drivers are advised that visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow and people should be prepared for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
