Snow in the Kamloops forecast this week

There is snow in the Kamloops weather forecast this week.

Some midweek snow is expected in Kamloops as daily high temperatures stay close to the freezing mark.

Environment Canada says to expect a mix of sun and cloud in Kamloops today, Dec. 9, with winds to 15 km/h and a high of -1 Celsius. It should be clear tonight with a wind chill of -9 C and a low of -5 C.

Tomorrow should be mainly cloudy with winds to 15 km/h. A high of -1 C could be accompanied by a windchill near -7 C. There is a 40 per cent chance of flurries with cloudy periods expected overnight and a low to -4 C.

A 40 per cent chance of flurries carries into Wednesday under cloudy skies and a high of 0 C. There is a 40 per cent chance of flurries overnight with a low to -2 C.

Snow is forecast for Thursday with a high of 2 C, followed by cloudy periods overnight and a 40 per cent chance of flurries with a low to 0 C.

Friday should see a mix of sun and cloud and a high to 1 C. Cloudy periods and a low of -2 C are forecast overnight.

Saturday and Sunday should see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 1 C in Kamloops.

Normal temperatures at this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 1 C and lows of -6 C.
