Vernon Search and Rescue volunteers pulled out two snow bikers over the weekend after they became stranded in the backcountry outside Enderby.

The rescue took place on the evening of Feb. 4, after the snow bikers went down drainage creek and got stuck, according to a media release.

The search and rescue group said the snow bikers couldn't get out because of the steep terrain and bad weather.

The snow bikers were at the LaForge riding area of the Hunters Range snowmobile area east of Enderby.

"Despite being cold and wet they were uninjured," the group said.

Vernon Search and Rescue was assisted by the Hunters Range Snowmobile Association in the rescue.
