VERNON - B.C. Wildfire Service crews are on the ground in the Silver Star area to combat a small wildfire that sparked this afternoon.
Fire information officer Taylor MacDonald said that six units are currently on the scene of the 0.2-hectare blaze. It is classified as out of control at this time.
"A bird dog responded to provide an assessment from the air," MacDonald said. "It is suspected to be human-caused."
