A wildfire that was discovered this afternoon north of Tulameen in the Similkameen is roughly two hectares in size, according to the B.C. Wildfire Service.
The fire is at Mathew Creek, north of Tulameen and west of Highway 5A, according to the wildfire service's wildfire map. It was initially reported at 0.01 hectare and has grown to about two hectares this afternoon, July 21.
No structures are threatened by the fire at this time.

Fire information officer Madison Smith said there are currently 24 personnel at the scene with heavy equipment and air tankers.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
This is the second wildfire firefighters are battling in the Kamloops Fire Centre. A wildfire burning west of Merritt along Highway 8 has reached 28 hectares in size and is currently listed as out of control.
