Easter Sunday should be sunny and warm in Kamloops and the Okanagan but there will be clouds and possibly showers to live through first.

The forecast high in Kamloops is 13 Celsius today, March 28, and is forecast to stay about the same through Saturday before reaching 17 C Sunday and even warmer early next week.

There’s a 30-40% chance of showers today through Friday morning before clearing late in the afternoon.

Snow levels Friday night will drop to 600 metres as the overnight low is forecast to reach -2 C.

The normal high temperature in Kamloops for today is 13.2 C with an overnight low of 0.4 C.

The Environment Canada online forecast is much the same for the Okanagan, just a couple of degrees cooler.

The Okanagan should get to 11 C today and Friday, climbing to 15 C on Sunday and 17 C Monday.

There is also a 30-40% chance of showers through Friday morning. The snow level Friday night is expected to be 700-800 metres with an overnight low of -2 C.
