With the COVID-19 public health orders in place, many B.C. residents are planning a very different, low-key Christmas this year.

While some are enthusiastically donning an apron to cook Christmas dinner for the first time, some are looking for some easier alternatives, with less leftovers.

Don't settle for a sandwich, check out these restaurants in Kamloops that are open for delivery, take-out or dine-in on Christmas Day. 

ROMEO's Kitchen + Spirits 

ROMEO's is offering dinner to-go for Christmas this year. You can order many of their regular menu items online, plus their signature Cocktail Kits to make some fancy drinks at home. They also offer brunch and dessert items. You can order your meal for pick-up between 5 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Dec. 25.

Denny's

Whether you're looking for breakfast, brunch, lunch or Christmas dinner, Denny's has your back this holiday season. From Dec. 22 to 28, you can get free delivery if you order online through the Denny's website.

They're open Dec. 25 for dine-in, take-out or delivery from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sushi Valley

Sushi Valley will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day. You can dine-in, or pick-up for take-out at their restaurant here. View their menu here.

Zaika Indian Lounge 

You can dine in or order to go, and those who choose the former can get a 15 per cent discount on orders over $30 from Dec. 21 to Jan. 5. Zaika is also available for delivery on Skip the Dishes. 

They will be open Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Spezia House

Spezia House Pakistani Restaurant will be open Christmas Day for pick-up, dine in or delivery through Skip the Dishes, Doordash and Mitchies Delivery.

Krob Krua Thai Restaurant 

Krob Krua is open Christmas Day from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. for take-out or delivery through Mitchies Delivery.

Red Swan Pizza

Red Swan Pizza will be open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Dec. 25 for delivery on Skip the Dishes or Doordash, and take-out.

Kami Pizza will be open 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Christmas Day for take-out and delivery. Check out their menu here. 

Canadian 2 for 1

Canadian 2 for 1 Pizza will be open for take-out and delivery from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day. They're offering a holiday deal where you can buy a large pizza and get a two topping medium pizza for $5, valid for up to three medium pizzas. The deal ends Jan. 31, 2021.

Gyldi's Pizza will be open for take-out and delivery from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 25. You can view their menu online here.

McDonald's

All McDonald's locations will be open Christmas Day except for the Aberdeen, Walmart and downtown locations.
