Single vehicle crash slows traffic in Penticton

A Ford Escort had to get towed out of a bush Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021 along Westminster Avenue in Penticton.

A Ford Escort crashed along Westminster Avenue in Penticton this afternoon.

It came to a rest between a sidewalk and the bushes out front of Murray Buick GMC dealership.

Eastbound traffic was down to one lane while the car was being towed just before 2 p.m. today, Aug. 10, and westbound traffic was diverted north to Comox Street.

No word if anyone was hurt.

Penticton RCMP did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
