SICAMOUS - A Sicamous man will appear in Salmon Arm court today on a robbery charge.

RCMP say the charge stems from an incident at around midnight on Feb. 12 at a home on Spruce Street in Sicamous.

Two men were invited inside the home and one of the men produced a knife while the other stole some marijuana, according to an RCMP media release.

The person who was robbed wasn't hurt and told police he knew one of the men.

RCMP found and arrested Brett Norrish, 22. He has been in custody since his arrest and is scheduled to appear in court today, Feb. 21.

Police are on the look out for the second suspect who is described as a bald Caucasian man in his 30s. He was wearing glasses and dark clothing at the time of the robbery.

Anyone who has any information about the second suspect's identity is asked to contact Sicamous RCMP at 250-836-2878.
