UPDATE: Shaw internet restored for most customers in Interior

THOMPSON-OKANAGAN - Most Shaw customers will now, or soon, have their internet back up and running.

According to the company's website, as of 2:30 p.m. the majority of Shaw customers were back online after an outage earlier today. Techs are still working to restore service to all customers.

Around 1:30 p.m., according to Shaw's website, the company confirmed an outage for phone, internet and cable services in the B.C. Interior and crews began investigating.

"We are working to restore service as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the website stated.

The company said some customers were affected, although there was no number of affected customers provided.
