KELOWNA - If you are disappointed that you missed out on seeing Shania Twain live in Vancouver, you are in luck, the singer just announced seven new tour dates in five more cities, including one in Kelowna.
The Canadian country star is currently touring North America and performed in both Vancouver and Edmonton back in June, now she will make a stop in Kelowna as part of her Rock This Country tour.
Twain, known for hits like Any Man of Mine, Man! I Feel Like a Woman! and I’m Gonna Getcha Good, retired in 2004 but made a come back in 2012 when she began performing in Las Vegas. She began touring again earlier this summer.
“This is a celebration tour. It’s party time! The ROCK THIS COUNTRY tour will have a different spirit than my past tours,” Twain says in a release. “It’s a Shania they’ve never seen before. A lot of years have gone by and I’ve got a lot more to share.”
The country-pop legend will be at Prospera Place in Kelowna on Oct. 27. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m.
Tickets start at about $160 and are available online at www.selectyourtickets.com, by phone at 250-762-5050 or at the Prospera Place Box Office.
