NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. - North Vancouver RCMP has issued a public warning after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at her home by a man posing as a contractor.
Cpl. Richard De Jong says a man knocked on the front door on Thursday afternoon and told the girl he was there to do some work that her parents knew about.
The suspect assaulted the teen when she let him into the house.
De Jong says the girl is traumatized and having a hard time dealing with what happened to her.
The man is not known to the victim or the family.
De Jong says a composite drawing will be posted on the RCMP website, possibly by Saturday.
