Several Kamloops sports fields remain closed

KAMLOOPS - After the closure of several soccer fields due to the heavy rainfall and use over the long weekend, City of Kamloops Parks staff have inspected and assessed the condition of these fields and have reopened the Singh Street soccer fields.

West Highlands Park soccer fields and McArthur Island soccer fields remain closed until further notice. The closure is necessary to ensure public safety, as well as to protect the turf from damage.

Staff will be continue to inspect these fields and will provide updates as necessary.
