KELOWNA – A memorial service for Alexandra Nyuli, the woman who died last week after her vehicle left the road in Joe Rich and tumbled 100 m down a bank will be held this weekend in Kelowna.

Nyuli, who was 21, was one of three daughters of Joe Rich Fire Chief Curtis Nyuli. On Jan. 28 her body was found by first responders near the 6900 block of Highway 33 East shortly after 4 p.m.

The service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at Willow Park Church in Rutland. The public is invited to attend.

The exact reasons for the crash have not been released but Nyuli says he believes his daughter may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
