The Coquihalla's southbound lanes have reopened after a semi-truck blocked them this morning.

Kamloops resident Dave Shackelly reported that a semi-truck, between Kamloops and Merritt, had driven into the ditch and blocked the opposite lanes at roughly 7:40 a.m., Feb. 6.

He said the roads were a little slick and big snowflakes were falling.

The Coquihalla Highway and Highway 3 are expected to receive 20 to 30 cm of snow today.
