Eight people were arrested following a weekend raid by RCMP in the 600-block of Tomby Court in Kelowna triggered by suspected drug trafficking.
The raid happened on Saturday, June 18, and included a police dog along with bylaw officers.
“During the search of the residence, police seized quantities of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in a news release. “They also seized firearms, weapons, and Canadian currency.”
The eight suspects have been released from custody pending further investigation. Those findings will be forwarded to Crown counsel to consider charges.
