Second Penticton all-candidates forum slated for Oct. 13

A second Penticton provincial all-candidates' forum is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13 in an online forum.

Penticton voters can check out the candidates vying in this month’s provincial election in a second all-candidates forum in the riding.

Sponsored by the Penticton Herald, the four candidates in the riding will square off on Tuesday, Oct. 13 on the Herald’s Facebook page live from 7 to 9 p.m.

COVID-19 restrictions mean the forum is restricted to direct participants only, with only nine people present in the Penticton Lakeside Resort ballroom.

The riding’s four candidates include Dan Ashton for the B.C. Liberals, Toni Boot for the NDP,  Ted Shumaker for the Green Party, and Keith MacIntyre, Libertarian.

The Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce held a virtual online all candidates’ forum on Oct. 8.
