Schedule announced for Kelowna's Rock the Lake

The performance schedule for Kelowna's Rock the Lake is out and single day tickets will go on sale later today.

Rock the Lake returns to the parking lot at Prospera Place on Aug. 7 to 9 with some of the hottest bands from the 70s and 80s.

With a combined 30 platinum records, six gold records, and 16 Juno Awards, as well as one Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee, this year’s festival will feature Aldo Nova, April Wine, Chilliwack, Colin James, Harlequin, Haywire, Kim Mitchell, Loverboy, Nazareth, Powder Blues Band and The Spoons, according to a Prospera Place media release.

Here's the performance schedule:

Friday, Aug. 7
Harlequin – 6 p.m.
Aldo Nova – 7:15 p.m.
April Wine – 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 8
The Spoons – 3:30 p.m.
Haywire – 5 p.m.
Kim Mitchell – 6:40 p.m.
Loverboy – 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 9
Powder Blues Band – 3:30 p.m.
Chilliwack – 5 p.m.
Nazareth – 6:40 p.m.
Colin James – 8:30 p.m.

Single day tickets will go on sale today at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 and are $65 for Friday’s show and $75 each for Saturday and Sunday (plus taxes and service charge). Patrons are encouraged to buy their tickets early as last year’s event for Saturday and Sunday sold out, the release said. Three-day passes and VIP passes are also available.
