Sightings of unusual, hairy creatures that stand on two legs in the snowy regions of Washington and B.C. are usually filed away as hoaxes but now a highway camera is adding to the mystery.
On Jan. 23, a highway camera on Sherman Pass, in Washington, caught an image of a blurry subject believed to be standing on two legs. The image was shared on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Twitter account.
“Sasquatch spotted! I'm not superstitious... just a little stitious. Have you noticed something strange on our Sherman Pass/SR 20 webcam before?
“If you look closely by the tree on the left there looks to be something... might be Sasquatch... We will leave that up to you!” the Tweet said.
Three images were shared with the post, circling an upright, dark figure walking across the snowy pass.
The spot where the suspected Sasquatch was sighted is about 70 kilometres south of the Canada-U.S. border near Grand Forks, B.C.
