Salvation Army continues support for Rutland fire victims

Kelowna, British Columbia | July 24, 2013 – The Salvation Army is continuing to support the families affected by the recent Rutland Apartment fires.
Located at the Salvation Army Church at 1480 Sutherland Avenue, the Salvation Army Kelowna will continue to provide assistance in the form of clothing, household items and furniture during the following hours:

July 25, 1-7 p.m.

July 26, 1-5 p.m.

July 27, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

July 29, 1-7 p.m.

July 30 1-5 p.m.

July 31, 1-5 p.m.

People coming for assistance are asked to bring in their yellow ESS form and a form of ID. 

In the coming weeks ahead, affected individuals can continue to access support through The Salvation Army Community Life Centre at 200 Rutland Road South by calling 250-765-3450 Monday through Friday to set an appointment. 

The Canadian Red Cross is now working out of their office at 124 Adams Rd and they can be reached 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday at 250 469-0745.
