REVELSTOKE – A 26-year-old Salmon Arm woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Revelstoke early this morning.

The woman died at the scene despite the efforts of passing motorists and Revelstoke firefighters, according to an RCMP media release.

The woman’s identity has not been released.

No word yet about the cause of the crash.
