After a two-year hiatus, the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival is coming back next summer.
The four-day festival is scheduled to take place Aug. 18 to Aug. 21, 2022.
Next summer's festival will mark the 30th anniversary of the popular music festival.
"It’s been two years since the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues community has celebrated together. Now, we're ready to welcome you back to Salmon Arm for our landmark 30th anniversary festival," organizers posted on social media.

Early bird tickets to the festival open at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 8.
The pandemic has forced the festival to go online for the last two years.
The not-for-profit organization, The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, which organizes the festival has recently welcomed a new artistic director, Kevin Tobin.
Tobin previously worked as the artistic director for the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival for 18 years.
"Roots and Blues has a rich history of presenting world-class artists from home and abroad that reflect the diverse Salmon Arm community," Tobin said in a media release. "I’m excited to work with the dedicated board, staff, volunteers, stakeholders, and sponsors of the festival. The ability to complement the talented staff with my artistic programming experience and call Salmon Arm home is an incredible opportunity."
Artist submissions to perform at the festival are now being accepted.
