SALMON ARM - Police are investigating after several bus shelters around Salmon Arm were vandalized over the past week.
Staff Sgt. Scott West with Salmon Arm RCMP says glass at five different bus shelters have been smashed.
“A total of 13 glass panels have been smashed at a significant expense to the city. The damage is well into the thousands of dollars,” West says in a media release.
Investigators say one witness reported seeing a small Toyota car drive away after one of its occupants smashed a pane of glass at a shelter.
