Salmon Arm RCMP on the hunt for a parrot thief

A thief nabbed a parrot from a pet store in Salmon Arm earlier this week.

Critters Pet Store reported that someone stole a Sun Conure parrot at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, according to an RCMP press release. 

Mounties have identified a person of interest in the investigation and are seeking the public’s help to identify him.

RCMP describe the person of interest as an adult man of average height and weight with short brown hair.

He was caught on surveillance video on Ross Street wearing a purple Lakers hoodie with a backpack and headphones on.
