SALMON ARM - Two individuals are facing charges after Salmon Arm RCMP located a stolen vehicle and other property believed to be obtained by crime last weekend.
In a media release issued today, Nov. 5, RCMP say a stolen Audi Q7 was recovered by officers on Sunday, Nov. 3 after it was reportedly stolen from Richmond in late October.
A man and a woman from B.C. were both arrested and held in police custody. Police say they are expected to make their first court appearance in Salmon Arm.
Both individuals have a record for property crime offences and are known to police, according to the release.
Police also say the man has had been released on conditions in late October on an unrelated charge and was not to be in a vehicle without the registered owner present. The woman was also on court-ordered conditions in relation to property crime offences.
Salmon Arm RCMP have seized the property and are looking to locate the owners of the following property:
• 2 Stihl chain saws in their cases;
• 2 Stihl weed eaters, and various power tools;
• a Giant mountain bike;
• a Brodie mountain bike;
• a Kona mountain bike;
• a Trek mountain bike;
• CCM mountain bike;
• a set of Ping golf clubs;
• a Mariner outboard motor;
• Zenith binoculars
