Salmon Arm police look to the public for information into motorcycle crash

Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking information and witnesses to a single vehicle motorcycle collision that took place around 6:45 p.m. yesterday, May 16, 2021.

Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking witnesses and information about a collision that sent a driver to hospital with serious injuries.

A motorcycle was involved in the single vehicle collision yesterday, May 16, around 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of  the Trans-Canada Highway and Sunnybrae Canoe Pt. Rd.

The driver was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries by civilian bystanders.

Salmon Arm RCMP would like to speak with the person or persons who assisted in transporting the driver to hospital, and the person who collected the motorcycle, a black 2017 Apri, and transported it to Shuswap Lake General Hospital.

Police are also seeking witnesses to the collision. Anyone who might have seen the incident is asked to call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044, asking for Const. Allan Slaney, a press release issued by the Salmon Arm detachment said today, May 17.
