It looks like the price at the pumps is on the rise in the southern Interior although there are still bargains to be had.

Salmon Arm has the cheapest gasoline price in B.C. this afternoon, Jan. 7, at 95.9 per litre of regular, according to GasBuddy.com.

In the Okanagan and Kamloops, gas prices look to be on the way up.

The price for a litre in Penticton ranges from a low of 108.9 to a high of 122.9 today after weeks at around 112.9.

In Kelowna, the price of a litre of regular this afternoon goes from a low of 105.9 to a high of 122.9, and in Vernon the price is relatively stable so far at between 101.9 and 105.9.

The price at the pump in Kamloops also has a wide range from between 102.9 to 122.9.
