Two teenagers from Salmon Arm are missing along with their father who police say has been charged with sexual interference and sexual assault on a minor.
The father is 40-year-old Caleb Gerbrandt who is believed to be traveling with his daughters in a 2006 Grey Dodge Grand Caravan, according to an RCMP press release. The license plate number is NE9 61N.
His daughters are 14-year-old Eliyah and 13-year-old Avery.
Police say all three went missing from Caleb’s Salmon Arm home Jan. 21. They are believed to be in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island area.
Caleb was recently charged with sexual interference and sexual assault on a minor, RCMP said. Both his daughters were supposed to be staying at their grandparent’s place also in Salmon Arm.

Neither the police nor family have been able to make contact with Caleb, Eliyah or Avery.
“We believe that Caleb is actively evading police,” Staff Sgt. Scott West said in the release.
“He is required to abide by a curfew and be inside his Salmon Arm residence every night, a condition which he is now breaching. A warrant has now been issued for his arrest.”
Salmon Arm RCMP are asking anyone who has any information which may help to locate Caleb, Eliyah or Avery to call their local police or the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044.
