LAKE COUNTRY - The province is looking for your input into a transportation study recently launched on the Highway 97 corridor through Lake Country.
The Ministry of Transportation is hosting a workshop for the public next week to collect input on the Highway 97 Lake Country Transportation Planning Study, according to a media release.
The Ministry says the ideas collected will be considered as part of the two-year transportation plan that will analyze options to improve safety and transportation on the highway corridor from Duck Lake to Lodge Road, with a focus on the Glenmore Road and Beaver Lake Road intersection.
Workshop attendees will gather at tables in a 'world cafe' format to discuss several topics before sharing their ideas to the entire group.
It takes place on Wednesday, June 19 from 7 p.m.to 9 p.m. at the Lake Country Seniors Centre.
Space is limited and registration is required by June 18. Send your name and number in your party to 97lakecountrystudy@gov.bc.ca.
