KELOWNA - RCMP are scouring the neighbourhood for information following a small rash of break and enters in Rutland last week.
All three homes targeted were in the Huckleberry and Jack Pine Road area and entered in broad daylight, between the hours of 7:30 a.m and 5 p.m. Items such as jewelry, passports, golf clubs, bikes, electronics, computers, cash and a white BMW X3 were reported stolen.
Mounties believe there was more than one person responsible and that a vehicle was used to carry out the tasks, considering the amount of time spent in the rural area and what was taken. They say they're trying to determine if an abandoned, stolen, grey 1997 Honda CRV found on Jack Pine Road with a damaged front quarter was used in the break and enters.
